The Orderly Transfer of Power

bushandobama An amazing event is taking place: the orderly, peaceful transfer of power. From President George W. Bush to (soon to be) President Barack Obama. From the Republican party to the Democratic party. Without guns or threat of violence. The political process works.

It’s times like this that I’m proud to be an American.

Quote of the Day — President George W. Bush

From an interview with Neal Cavuto of FOXNews:

Fiscal conservatism is one of my defining issues for the remaining months. —President George W. Bush.

Quote of the Day — Andrew Sullivan

When you take a few steps back and look closely, you realize that Bush has managed both to betray conservatism and stigmatize it all at once. —Andrew Sullivan

Who Lied, and People Died?

If you believe “Bush Lied and People Died” is a good reason to vote Democrat this coming presidential election, please be consistent and vote for Barack Obama in the primary.

Why Did the Chicken Cross the Road?

Q. Why did the chicken cross the road?

A. George W. Bush

Sometimes misread jokes can be as funny as the original.

Let’s Impeach Bush

Or not.

(Can you say President Cheney?)

Negotiations, Korean Style

A North Korean Lieutenant General opened negotiations earlier today with his South Korean counterpart as follows:

Bush … goes out jogging one morning and, preoccupied with international affairs, fails to notice that a car is heading straight at him.

A group of schoolchildren pull the president away just in time, saving his life, and a grateful Bush offers them anything they want in the world as a reward.

“We want a place reserved for us at Arlington Memorial Cemetery,” say the children.

“Why is that?” he asks.

“Because our parents will kill us if they find out what we’ve done.” (Source.)

Apparently, the urge to tell jokes about authority figures exists everywhere. In North Korea, however, living to tell another joke means directing the humor elsewhere, instead of the obvious target.

Dance, Dance, Dance…

Weekend’s here, once again. Let’s dance in celebration!

Sorry I missed this last week.

Bushies Planting More Bombs

Elevated roadway collapses

The Bushies have been busy once again setting off bombs to further their 9-11 cover story that burning fuel weakens steel.

This time the Bushies bombed an elevated roadway leading to the Bay Bridge near San Francisco after a gasoline tanker “crashed and exploded in a fireball that melted the eastbound connector ramp” or so the “official story” goes.

I’m waiting for the video from nearby traffic cams that shows the dust cloud jetting out from under the collapsing ramp. What would you bet that the tapes are “not unavailable”?

It’s clear the Bushies chose this location, just across the bay from San Francisco, to send Nancy Pelosi a message. Have they no shame?! Oh, the humanity…

Impeach Bush! Flog Rove!!

Update 2: CHP released the driver’s name: James Mosqueda–clearly a Jewish name. The plot thickens.
