I used to use WordPress’ built-in blogroll capabilities. No more — it was too much work. My blogroll now updates automatically to always show the feeds I’m reading. Here’s how you can do it, too:

I received a private message on the K2 Support Forum asking how I did my Twitter Updates with a Twitter icon (example). Because others might be interested, here’s how I did it:
Download and install Twitter Tools in your plugins folder.
Go to Manage > Categories and create a category to be used only by these Twitter [...]
I blame it on Tumblr and Twitter.
I just installed a nice little tool on this site called Snap Shots that enhances links with visual previews of the destination site, interactive excerpts of Wikipedia articles, MySpace profiles, IMDb profiles and Amazon products, display inline videos, RSS, MP3s, photos, stock charts and more.

Blogan.net is now running on WordPress 2.3, named Dexter after Jazz tenor saxophonist Dexter Gordon. I don’t expect any issues as I’ve been running the pre-release betas for a while with no problems.
