I learned something this evening on the way home: the best view of the jet engine intake is not the back row — it’s the second to the back row. Good to know.
This morning’s flight to Mather left on time, meaning we were flying long before the sun was up.

Today I completed a 5K. No, not a 5 kilometer race, but 5,000 miles on my bike since my family gave it to me on Fathers’ Day 2013. Yeah, it’s hard for me to believe, too. :-)
One benefit of having my flight delayed while the fog lifted in Sacramento was seeing a beautiful sunrise over the Oregon Cascades.

When we visit Cannon Beach, I like to walk to the south side of Haystack Rock to take pictures of the Needles. For this latest trip, it wasn’t much of a walk because we were staying at Hallmark Inn, just north of the rock. A couple of evenings ago, Suzi and I walked to take pictures.
This picture is interesting because Google+ automatically reviewed the pictures my phone uploaded, selected one and edited it. I like the result!
