I used Wordle to create a word cloud of President Obama’s speech to students.

if you read the words backwards, you can see the socialist message!
Okay, let’s try that:
“I like going first.”
“Skills make things hard.”
“Enough school just might develop students.”
“People always know something.”
Hmm… Clearly socialist. :-D
I got to Multnomah Village an hour before the yarn store opened, so I decided to kill that hour eating breakfast in a little cafe that looked intriguing on the main drag. License plates covered the walls. They were from all over the country, but most were vanity plates that deserved a read, and sometimes a chuckle. One brought to mind the law of parsimony, but I can’t at the moment, remember what the word was on the plate. Maybe it’ll come to your mind.
Marilyn, if I didn’t know you (and if you’d included a link) I would be convinced that comment was spam. Now, I’m just not sure. ;-)
Are you thinking about Occam’s Razor?
Way, way, way too many letters for a snob license plate. The only word that’ll come to me is ENTROPY, and I know that’s wrong, because it doesn’t fit the definition.
In the morning I’ll high tail over to that little cafe, eat breakfast, and check out the answer. Then I’ll post it here.
On second thought, it might be OCCAM, but that doesn’t sound right either. I’ll get back to you on this one, but I’m not Spam; I’m strictly a Prime.
You’re right. It’s OCCAM. I also spotted 4MYEGO from S.A., which I assume is South Africa, and at my booth, I found UPONIT. There are also loads of interesting road signs and plenty of the usual. It’s a fun place to nurse a cup of coffee and just browse the signs.
I’m slow, but I finally realized what you’re talking about. Your comments may be more appropriately have been made on this post.
Personalized license plates are fun. I’ve always wondered whether they’re ticket magnets (not that I need any help in that arena).
