I’m Fabulous, Thanks

I have no idea if it works, but I know I enjoy telling people I’m fabulous. —Scott Adams

Scott Adams suggests a positive response to “How are you?” might actually make you a different person . My favorite response: “If I was any better I’d have to be twins.” :-)

My Dad’s lines – which you may remember when he was on the TVJA school board w/ you:

    . 1. “Fantastic!”

. 2. “If I was any better, I’d have a runaway!” (a reference to trains)

But as age has crept up on him, more and more, it’s just: “Good.”

I say the more outrageous the answer, the better. If I can make the questioner laugh, mission accomplished!

When you ask how someone is doing and you get this long pause, you know you’re in trouble — you’re about to get a truthful answer. Dealing with one of those is much more difficult than answering the original question.
